Terms of Service / User Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jobthentic.com (the "Platform"), operated by Jobthentic ("Jobthentic," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Purpose of the Platform

Jobthentic is a job marketplace designed to facilitate connections between job seekers and hiring entities through authenticity, transparency, and accountability. Jobthentic provides a platform only. We are not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or guarantor of employment outcomes.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and to keep your information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Responsibilities and Authenticity Standards

All users agree to act honestly and in good faith when using the Platform.

Job seekers agree that all information provided, including resumes, qualifications, work history, and interview representations, must be truthful and accurate.

Hiring entities agree that all job listings must represent legitimate, current employment opportunities and accurately describe the role, compensation (if provided), and requirements.

Jobthentic reserves the right to verify information, request clarification, or remove content or accounts that violate these standards.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, company, or intent
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive job listings or profile information
• Use automated tools, bots, scraping, or unauthorized data collection
• Attempt to bypass platform safeguards or verification mechanisms
• Harass, discriminate against, or abuse other users
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or violates applicable laws

5. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant Jobthentic a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process, and use such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You represent that you have the right to submit all content and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Fees and Payments

Certain features or services may be offered for a fee in the future. If we introduce paid features, we will disclose pricing and billing terms at the time of purchase and may update them from time to time.

7. Platform Access and Availability

We strive to keep the Platform available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Jobthentic may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without liability.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

Jobthentic may suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion if we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, any platform rules, or applicable laws.

Termination may result in loss of access to content or services. The following sections survive termination: Content Ownership and License, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Jurisdiction, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Jobthentic disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee employment, candidate quality, hiring success, or the authenticity of any specific user or listing.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobthentic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Jobthentic, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobthentic, its officers, directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
